Welcome!

There is an Aussie forum here: http://www.biofuelsforum.com/

I think I'm a member there too.  I'm not sure how much they go for the GL design though, and they tend to have some quite strong opinions on how it should be done :)

Hi and welcome... I've send filters to a number of Aussies recently.  I'll need to look at a map to figure out locations, but I'll pull out what I've got and get back to you a little later.

thank you guys

Ken Dodd, truth be known, both my parents were english  ;)

Tony, i do have other containers, stainless kegs, need some gas to be welding them, gas bottles and hot water heaters to 400 ltr these have been the easyest to get, and willing to share with like minded people,  i did join the other forum too, but havent been cleared to post yet

nathanrobo that would be great, also do you have a link to your filters or any other products you have

Julian  you guys are so willing to help, already have a lot of info and freindly banter, i did like reading the BBB wished i was there, i know i wont be able to help anyone with the bio for a long time, i'am able to do welding ect with ability to scrounge up gear that might help others, so i might be able to help out that way

cheers stuart

We have a page listing recommended suppliers ... http://www.biopowered.co.uk/wiki/Equipment_and_services_directory

It's a bit hidden away to stop spammers using it for advertising but it's linked from the sticky at the top of the BioBay board.  If you have any local recommendations, please feel free to add to it.

Mate

There are 8 bio brewers that I've come across in NSW and only one that I talk to a lot, based in Woolgoolga (Chris Freeman).  Of the others where I can find an address their locations are:

  • Queanbeyan East
  • Queanbeyan
  • Bucketty
  • Dunbogan

I know Chris will share information, although he has said in the past that folk are so worried about their oil supplies / sources that there's a real reluctance to network in this way.  Still let me know what locations are closest to you and I'll ping out an email or emails.

you might be as well to message me for my email address as I don't think anyone will thank me for putting their contact details on a public forum.

Links are fine here.

It does say suitable for biodiesel, but is that hot or cold, or without Methanol?  Personally I'd be much happier with proper steel valves.  There must be a trade plumbing place somewhere that you can use?
