Well spotted Paul!

Are you intending to shorten the videos as Keith suggested or is the removal permanent?  I think they leant a lot to the page.

There are plusses and minuses to both methods described.  Heating the pan first and removing completely from the source of ignition possibly runs a lower risk than heating over say a gas flame.

Personally I think it's a mute point and both methods should be covered.

Shame, I thought they were excellent!

Although an experienced one, there's only been one dissenting voice.

I modified the page to show both methods when it was first mentioned some while ago.

To a certain extent I'm of the opinion that if you can't handle a bit of hot oil in a pan by whatever means then messing with biodiesel and associated chemicals isnt for you...

The videos I thought were great, made the page to be honest.
