PAH! Craftsman having a go at the apprentice, no wonder everyone goes into computers these days.

That is not a good photo. To be fair, i did have a dozen or so holes in it, and a few of them were right there.
I did a lot of test runs to set the mig up. That was welded on number two setting, 0.6mm wire. The weld is slightly proud. On number three setting, the weld looked a lot better, and had a lot better penetration, but it was slightly undercutting at the edges. If I welded faster, it was OK, but I just cannot weld at that speed.
The penetration is good, you can see a nice clear line inside, where it is just starting to burn through. Main thing is, I've pressurised it, and it is perfectly sealed. (Crosses fingers and hopes it stays that way)
