OBDII car dianostic plug + bluetooth connectivity

hi all

been playing with one of these and its not quite working has anyone else used one and any tips and tricks to look out for?

i got TORQUE app installed to my phone and i got it bluetoothed to phone do i have to blue tooth it to the app aswell?

tryed it in a T4 but couldnt connect to adapter

another question are OBD ! and OBDII different sockets?

going to try laptop bluetooth to adapter so i can use SCANTOOL app aswell today

got to find the socket on me pug 406 first though lol

ok put the plug in the 406 and the phone and adapter link by bluetooth but it displays no reading, just says auto search protocols... ?
