I am very happy this morning.
I took the RangeRover in for MOT. Didn't even check the lights before I went so certainly not checked anything else (although of course I do keep on top of maintenance and look after it).
0.27 on the emissions test despite idling for 5 minutes whilst I had a chat with the tester and then a perfect pass - not even an advisory.
Got to be happy with that on a 16 year old vehicle.
Interestingly I did mention about the person who, either on here or VOD, had problems with an MOT station not testing it because they were running bio/veg.
His answer was that it made no difference what it was running on as the test is purely how much smoke it is making, not what it is burning and that whoever the tester was who refused to test it deserves to get struck off.
They chap I use knows I run biodiesel and we have a laugh about the exhaust smell every year.
