That's XMB's forum software and the way it parses URLs that appear in posts (it assume that brackets are used like I am now, and treats them as though you put http://www.example.com/)

I've posted on the thread using:

RM, I've added a redirect from the wiki page that gets linked from your post, and deleted my post on that thread.

So anyone can go ahead and post the URL without the [ url ] tags and it'll still work :)
