« on: June 07, 2013, 12:24:37 AM »
hey all

just got back from lichfield 148 miles with next door to buy a bora on a 51 plate with i beileve a 90BHP which is i think a vegging car... non pd.

but why im dropping this info is the road tax is only £66 for 6 months, vegger and cheap road tax and does high miles to the mpg between 40 and 60 i believe... = nice cars to grab if going...

ok ok

well im very impressed indeed, we de piped original filter and fitted a sausage we drained all diesel out and filled with veg oil 100% its like it runs on diesel, doesnt miss a beat at all, and goes like stink, puts my 406 to shame and its only a 90bhp, also love the £66 road tax for 6 month...

i just drove the car 10 mile its a dream to drive and like it just glides along...

yes very good motor, this will deffo be my next car, and one of the quickest mods to do and easiest as filter is on the very top...

-------------------------------------------------------

and to note: original filter leaked air badly! taken out no air through clear pipe!

-------------------------------------------------------

stay tuned next week we will be vegging a 2.4 turbo transpoter van T4  8)

Can you explain your mods?  Im not so clear on the "depiped the original filter" and "fitted a sausage" bit?

nothing major. take pipes off and fit new filter...

extra pipes where to test for air ingress or moreover where from,
