How clean is your shed?

Following comments on how oily his old shed was, Womble sent me this tonight (note the very tasteful lino) to prove that he's turned over a new leaf ...



He has agreed to post once a month with a copy of a current newspaper headline in shot to prove that he's keeping it this way .... Yeah, right!

I dunno about turning over a new leaf, at the mo, mine looks like I've turned over a drum full of oil, which I more or less have...........

That lino is better and cleaner than what I've got in my caravan.

I don't see anything remiss here, you obviously had a tidy up before the piccy but even so its quite tidy by veg/bio standards.

I find vacating a property and moving into a new one is more "energy efficient" than me cleaning my old one!

I have to ask...why have you (had you) got so many used filters draining in a bucket. Do you not throw anything away?

Good luck in keeping your new shed clean. I must admit that when I rebuilt mine 18months ago with a bunded area and a vinyl floor, keeping it clean and tidy is now second nature.

Yes, but SWMBO wants the old one cleaned up as well.
I've told her it'll have to wait until I'm completely setup over at the new place, yeah like that's going to happen.

It's my dad's fault, he has a saying "it'll come in handy one day, even if I never use it".

As the new place isn't mine I've got to keep it clean.

The only trouble with the Lino is, if he spilt something he's got more chance of breaking his neck.

I was going to tile the concrete floor of mine with industrial type floor tiles but then had the same thought.
Oil and Bio on tiles would pretty much make a skating rink.

If you tile it or use lino then just put some big old towels down as and when you're slopping any oil around. If it's not soaked up or cleaned it's just going to turn into a sticky shitty mess. I can't be doing with that.
