Ughh...

All through winter we ran on b100 - no additives or nuffin.

Its now May, and we get to limp home on the second filter due to cloud point issues!


Id been keeping a sample in the back yard, but got lazy at looking.

Oh well - at least the 2nd filter seems to last as long as the first (so gets you back however far you've managed to get!)




That aside, im starting to wonder if ill ever be able to use this ever growing mountain of tallow.  I think maybe we will have to go on a driving holiday in July or something!

Same here, another winter survived with no additives (that's three now - before I was using petrol).

I've got a 10" housing in the engine bay now though, it's tucked in between rad and some water pipes so when the car is parked up after a journey it gets a bit of heat.

ok ok, your sausage is bigger than my sausage filter lol, i forget but im on 20k at least on 1 sausage (veg oil runner)

2 of the cars for sale on here are on sausage filters, never chnaged thoses either! (both heated filters) same as mine.

cheap mesh type, 6 inch long roughly, like a paper pound one but plastic mesh about 40m
