Esaale.com

Guys, I know it's not strictly bio, but there's a competitor to Ebay (not the first I know), but it would be good if a competitor one day managed to give Ebay a run for it's money.

For now, nothing bio-wise on their, but it costs nothing to register and sell!  I'm going to support it on the basis that it will only succeed when if it gets used widely.

Always interesting in alternatives to commissionbay - as ever though it depends on how popular it is - bit of a catch22 I know.

Nothing bio-wise on there at the moment...dispite the support from Nathan.

Personally I don't see the problem with Ebay. Ebay is no different to any other auction house. Except there is no commision fee for buyers.

If an alternative does gain popularity it will ultimately be swallowed up .

You might be right with regards to being swallowed up but we do need options too. I have registered on esaale.com and have been using it for a couple of months now...works great and it does what it says on the tin its 100% free. I was sick to the bone of having to pay ebay and amazon most of my profits.

I use facebook group sites (im in 30 odd) for buying selling (you can make your own) and another good free site is gumtree.

I even have my own group/page on FB for business too... (Lift N Shift Removals Hereford) had a few jobs already...

I agree with RM. I use a Facebook group to shift ordinary stuff, it is free and usually very fast. I have sold things within minutes of listing in the past. No postage costs as I use a local group and they collect. Not so good for technical things though.
