I think I've been nicked for speeding, 34ish in a 30 zone by one of those camera vans, that'll be my first traffic offence since 1963.
You might have got lucky, once I was doing 35ish on a dual-lane stretch that was supposed to be 30, didn't spot the camera van, though I'd get a ticket for sure but nothing came of it. I think they were there to nab the people that bomb along at 40mph+ which is common there.
