Who else? ;D
Its just that a guy named John Coghlan organises military get togethers (they pull up in a line for the weekend, kick tyres, get pissed and have a BBQ), they have one every year and they have asked to use my old mans field this time

I may have met him many moons ago.  Was he a drummer with Status Quo?  Does or did he associate with Mario or Robo Aliperti?  I know Mario is into Military vehicles in a big way especially Ex Russian stuff.

Julian, the last time I met Mario he was in a Russian transporter that would dwarf the truck in your photo!

Small world.  He won't remember me, but we were both members of the early AWDC.  I'm sure he'll know Mario.  Mario is a complete nut case of the nicest kind, used to park his Volvo Sugga (lovey car), on roundabouts and always got away with it.

I was thinking about the same thing as Julian although, rather than cut holes in the side, I was going to have the pipes to the coil dropping vertically down the middle of the processor from the big screw on cover on the top. I plan to make my own coil from 10mm microbore so will make the last few turns at the bottom progressively smaller diameter so it fits all the way to the bottom of the processor.

Jules, i forgot to ask -

When i was costing stuff for my thermal store ideas, i concluded that it was *way* cheaper to harvest coils from 2nd hand tanks, than to try and make my own.

What's your reasoning behind making one to run from the centre port?  Is it just the possible issues with getting the side ports to seal properly?

I dont want to cut holes in the side of a perfectly good stainless steel tank when I can feed a coil in from the top. That was my rationale.
