Hi to everyone who still frequents this site. I still lurk here and check in most days. This is a bit difficult for me to explain but I hope someone will work out what I'm on about. I have a question regarding 1" steel pipework. Suppose I have two 1" ball valves that face each other but are say a couple of feet apart.
They are firmly fixed in position and can't be rotated. How would it be possible to connect the two valves with a piece of 1 inch piping? The right hand valve would need the pipe to be screwed in a clockwise direction, while the left hand valve needs the pipe to be screwed in the opposite direction. As I say both valves are fixed and can't be rotated. Is there some kind of adapter that would make this possible or am I overlooking something really basic here? This isn't exactly the situation I have but it's the only way I can think of to try and describe what I'm trying to achieve with the 1 inch pipe. Thanks for any help.
