Back to making bio from the usual good oil I normally use.

145L, double glyc washed then the normal 15L of methanol & 500grms of NaOH resulted in an 86% pass. 3½L more + 110g & a clear 100% pass was achieved. That's pretty efficient, no?

Pretty good neisel but remember when glyc washing we are introducing an unknown amount of chemicals plus releasing most of the bio tied up by the soap in the glycerol. So results should be far better than not glyc washed. Look at mine,  8 to 900lts of oil in an outside IBC. Glyc washed around 4 times with 100 to 150 litres glyc per go. Shows around 20% conversion, takes 6.5gms KOH/ litre and 10% methanol to convert.
