2EHN Dosing
« on: November 01, 2015, 07:28:20 PM »
I've just purchased some 2EHN and was wondering at what dosages do those that use the stuff see the benefits? I have read that 1.5ml/litre does the trick but would lie to here from forum members there thoughts.

We all seem to get different results for this stuff so just start at 1.5ml per litre and see how it works for you.

I'm at 2ml per litre of WVO which seems to help cold starting in my old Transit, I'm not bothered about performance in my old van so long as I can get it going in the morning   ;)

I use 1.6ml/ltr or 40ml in a 25ltr cubie for my bio in a common rail engine, I also used the same ration in my daughters old xud1.9 turbo.

Tony used 1.6ml/ltr in his old Largo 2.0 also.

I gave it a try but didn't really notice any improvements.

Perhaps one tank was an unfair test ... I should try several more tank fulls.

I probably use 2ml to 3ml per litre, I pour into a 100ml tube and don't do it that accurately when I add Bio. Love the stuff to the moon and back ! ! !

I'm using the same ratio for the 130 PD Passat.  It's too early to tell if it helps, but the fuel economy for a long run averaged 43mpg.  Anecdotal evidence suggests it helps with the DPF to add 2EHN too, though I'm skeptical about that if I'm honest!

As it improves the burn efficiency of the fuel I can see it helping the DPF, I have an Eberspacher airtronic heater in my camper and have been adding it to the dino, since it has got right into the system the sound of the burn through it's exhaust is much more stable.
