what to do with glycerol

Like many of us i have glycerol piling up behind the shed, don't need gloggs as i get lots of firewood for stove so i had made some liquid soap a while back and though i would try washing some old towels that had been in a bucket with water and a mix of Noah and a little Kohl.
rinsed them first then put them in washing machine with about 30ml of my liquid soap, well the machine quickly filled with suds so i stopped the machine and put on a rinse and hung my nice clean towels.
Tonite i repeated with some work clothes and it took 100ml to get very, very little suds.
I assume that the Noah in the towels is what caused the large amount of suds.
Does anyone have any ideas as to the chemistry of making a liquid soap to use in washing machines

NaOH is Sodium Hydroxide,   KOH is Potassium Hydroxide, ASM is Anhydrous Sodium Methylate.

I knew what they are but today, for some reason, I read them as words instead of chemicals!

So Assume you produce 2500 litres a year
10% of this is glycerol

This is enough soap for 2500 washes annually @ 100ml a wash :O

How much washing do you do ?

I dont do any, but any sort of dent i can make in the growing pile is a help.

I've never really thought about it. I guess washing machine soap must have some certain characteristics that other soaps don't have. Could be a place to start from, and go from there.
I dunno would I risk it on my best lace underwear, but it could be good for overalls and padded shirts, that come out of the wash as dirty as they went in.
