Title: Getting Methanol Northern Ireland
Post by: CanidrivE on July 04, 2023, 11:51:06 AM
Hi guys, long time since I posted on here

I have be trying to get methanol from one guy since April, he is now away on holiday.  I have been buying off him for years and he is an OK guy.  He supplies to at least 2 more people.
He had problems filling in a H&S form, then some thing to do with HRMC and confirming it is not, to be used to add to petrol.  But still no deliver to him.

Is there any where else here in Northern Ireland or could some of us get together and buy a pallet of 4 barrels, which could be delivered to my work place at Kilkeel harbour

Dave

I've lost touch with most of the NI guys since Infopop closed down.

'Trigger' was the last guy I spoke to on the VOD forum.

I've just had a look on this members list and he isn't listed. I have heard from some suppliers that the paperwork involved in supplying methanol to NI can be over-complicated.

Just looked at VOD (Yes, amazingly it's on line) and he's still on there, you could send him a pm.
