Title: Bio brew
Post by: Dickjotec on September 13, 2020, 01:46:31 PM
Just brewed this an. First brew, 200L, since March. I had almost forgotten how to do it. Had to clean the kit before I started, spiders seem to love it! Wonder how long this will last and will I be brewing again before Christmas? I used to brew every month ish.

I'm the same Dick. Brewed loads in March to get me through a period away from my home while renovations are taking place. I still have around 100lts left.

Should be back in the house in 2-3 weeks. Timing will be just about right for my next batch.

I might have to ask some basic questions when I start up again!! 8)

I've still got 200l left over from March.  I'm starting to wonder if it'll go rancid before I get a chance to use it.

I did make a new batch a couple of weekends back just to see if the pre-mixed methoxide I've had stored for over 6 months still worked (it did).  Which is just as well, because there's another 3x 20l of it waiting to be used.

Is everyone else still collecting oil and stockpiling it?

Down to one pickup now but they are using masses. Picked up 200L last week. Very good oil to, looks almost unused. They change it very regularly. I passed some on but the store is looking very well.
