I have just done a 10/90 test and had .3 fallout. Would you bother re-reacting or would you accept that result.
I was rushed for time so didn't spend as much time as I usually would processing the batch.

It depends on what vehicle it'll be used in, personally I would but then I drive a common rail.
It never pays to rush a brew.

I wouldn't but that's because I've got a car that will run on veg if needed.
Would be cautious about an emulsion if adding any water in your process though.

Vag 110 TDI is a veg motor I would not bother even if it was much higher.

As said, for an indirect injection engine, don't bother. If it was direct, common rail, ideally the dropout should be zero.
I am informed that from GC testing/10/90 test the bonded glycerine spec will just pass if the dropout does not exceed 0.15mls. This figure is based on the fact that up to 2% triglycerides will not show up on a 10/90 test due to their small solubility in methanol. This is also why if the 10/90 test shows a pass, then the conversion should be expressed as
> (greater than) 98%

I never did a second stage when driving veg friendly motors no matter how bad the result so in the end I stopped testing.

I used to run partial conversion in the Delica all the time. The only thing I would add is that sometimes a partial conversion seems to stop the soaps settling out properly, and clouds very easily with moisture.
These days I'm picky and always got for a clear pass even though the car is a proper Bosch veg muncher. Do a job properly and all that ;)
