Post by: tuftey on October 28, 2011, 06:05:00 PM
i have made enough bio now and all i can say about the smell is its sweet but the last few i have made are smelling burned if that makes sense i did find some burned bits on the element and black flakes in the bottom of the drain off

has anyone else had this

i only filter my oil with a sieve so i know there will be food particals in there but not stuck to the element and make the bio smell

Most of mine smells lovely but every now and again I overcook a batch and it smells like someone has disposed of a body in it - yuk.  :-\
