Had a batch which for whatever reason has taken three stages to get to a crystal clear pass. It appears to have been limited by catalyst rather than Methanol, which was in excess.
The third stage glyc has come out with solid lumps in it, almost like fishtank gravel. Has anyone see this before?

No.
Was the catalyst completely dissolved ... could it be a coagulation of NaOH or KOH.
-
It's NaOH Methoxide that has sat around for a couple of weeks and did had some milky colour to it at the bottom of the drum so might be actually.

hope ya saved some to play with to try and find out what it is?

I was up at 1:30am finishing the batch and it wasn't high on my list of priorities so it just got ditched in with the rest of the glyc. I was just relieved to get to a clear pass. Off up to London early Saturday, hoping I've got enough bio that has settled without waxing!

If you're using the Southern section of the big circular car park, you're welcome to a top up if you need it.

Youngest daughter got to meet David Walliams, which she was delighted about.

Fuel offer much appreciated but we had plenty - and it seemed to be banned where we parked!
