I plan to add some mis-fuel to my current batch.
Is it thought that petrol helps, or hinders soap settling? (im wondering if i should add it when the batch goes on to settle)
I thought that petrol being non-polar would not dissolve soap, however, goggling tells me that napalm is petrol with a soap thickener, and that some of those emergency stove things are the same recipe, so now im not at all sure.

I've vague recollections of reading that it might help.
Only way to find out is to try ... if the results are of interest, can we put the info on the wiki?
-
I have not done a soap test in (literally) years... so im in no real position to qualify any result other than utter failure - which is the one im trying to avoid! : )
I guess i could fill two bottles with fuel, and add 10% misfuel to one of them, and watch the sedimentation.

If you do succeed in making bio napalm, november 5th is rapidly approaching

Polystyrene dissolves in bio, napalm would be easy. Can't think of any fun way to use it though, it's just sticky stuff that burns at the end of the day!

Take it to the BBB and tell Arash it's handcleaner, then flick a match at him............

There's a flaw in your plan ... Arash never washes his hands.

Ah, I see the snag. Mix it up with some vanilla flavour and some food colouring, and tell him it's a lemon sorbet, then flick a match at him..........
