Title: Fish oil biodiesel
Post by: kamaangir on March 10, 2014, 08:49:29 AM
Does any one know any thing about this stuff? I have been offered some and am going to go and look at it.

I will do a 10/90 and a water shake test before taking it.

Cheers

I think fish oil is what is termed a 'drying oil' and can polymerise easily. Maybe ok if blended with over wvo

Something smells fishy around here.  Oh wait, it's Arash!

Are you sure you want that smell coming from your pipes?

Why put fish oil on our Jim ?

I thought that at first, but I realised what he really meant.

Then I thought in either case he's referring to an old prick, so there was no confusion anyway.

She did, but I'd never let that stand in the way of good sport.

According to this :

http://www.akenergyauthority.org/PDF%20files/Biodieselbrochure.pdf

The only downside is the cloud point which is 1° other than that its not reported to be any different to other types of bio.
