Made this batch of bio 7 weeks ago. 67lts of feedstock, 20 lts glyc wash after glyc was removed 70 lts of oil.
1st stage 750grs of koh and 10 ltrs meth, 2nd 280 grs koh and 4 ltrs meth.
7% pre wash then whole batch de meth.
overnight spray bar then into settling tank.
the 50/50 test was done yesterday, the sample on the right is a sample of the bio.
1 is it cloudy because of soap, res meth?
2 should i fix and if so how?
Have pics of what was on the bottom of settling tank, a very fine brown dust, to fine to be trapped by a j cloth or cotton sheet

I think it's normal to get some glyc settling out in the settling tank - I do. Not much though.
Try the 50/50 with boiled water. I get cloudy 50/50's with cold water - even when I know it has low soaps from a PPM soap test.

I get the same results with boiled water.
