have inherited a lot of testing equipment purchasing a new bio diesel processor. the problem is the tester solution is sodium hydroxide and I use koh how do I convert the results please

as far as I can gather you take 10 ml of isopropyl solution add 1 ml of oil shake then add a few drops of phenelphalene then count how many millilitres of tester solution you need to add.

remember to blank the fluid before adding the oil.

the wiki will, im sure, tell you more about blanking.

Most seen to have moved away from titrating to using the 'two stage method'. Have a look on the wiki for that.

saw about 2 staging you start with the base amount then do a 27/3 test. I just want to see how good my oil is got some rapeseed sunflower oil from mc donalds changed every 3 days should be quite good oil

How did you manage to get oil from McDonald's thought they had a national contract?????
