have inherited a lot of testing equipment purchasing a new bio diesel processor. the problem is the tester solution is sodium hydroxide and I use koh how do I convert the results please
-
as far as I can gather you take 10 ml of isopropyl solution add 1 ml of oil shake then add a few drops of phenelphalene then count how many millilitres of tester solution you need to add.

remember to blank the fluid before adding the oil.
the wiki will, im sure, tell you more about blanking.
-
blank?

i went to the effort of explaining where you could read more, so why are you asking me that?

Most seen to have moved away from titrating to using the 'two stage method'. Have a look on the wiki for that.
