For those who wish to go where some fear to tread....ie water washing...then have a look at this link. Bubble like this for your first couple of washes and you wont get an emulsion.

Yes mate...of course you can.
Rotary..Tom uses Sony Vegas as his editing software and itunes gave him the music links. It was all processed on his mac book and uploaded last night.

Ta muchly, it's done.
Has the biodiesel had a 7% water wash?

Yep..I can confirm that the one in the vid has been through a post reaction water wash prior to be transfered to the wash tank.

OK, I've noted that in the title in case people wonder about the colour and cloudiness.

Nice! Photos, vids and diagrams really spice up an otherwise dry (excuse the pun!) page, good job - the page is looking great.

Thanks for posting that Nige, it'll be very usefull when I try bubble washing again.
A little tip for anyone using an air pump in this way,
if you have the valve setup so you dump excess pressure rather than restrict the flow of air your air pump will last longer, they don't like pumping against a closed or restricted head.

Also if you add one of these in the line if you use the air pump for drying your bio after washing

it will take out the water that is generated when air is compressed.
