Looking to the future and assuming the site becomes popular we need to consider how units like the Appleseed processor will fit into the equation.  I don't have a clue about it other than it's very popular in the US.

Many of the Americans are now moving over to GL style processors although the appleseed is still popular as it is the most abundant used hot water heating device to find free or cheap 2nd hand over there.

Until Graham came along with the GL the appleseed was 'The' processor to have, I had been brewing bio for about a year when Graham first arrived on the scene( I remember it well as there were very few of us UK biofuelers back then) and it was not long after I had literally just binned my old burco boiler with a washing machine pump attached and made myself a version of the appleseed based on a clip top drum.

It wasn't to long after Graham arrived on the scene that he unveiled his "1 day EcoSystem processor" as it was first called. But the benefit and ease of it still didn't hit home to me until Graham demo'd it to a load of us at my 2nd bio buddies bash in summer 2007, even then it still took me some time after that to actully add a venturi and condensor to my processor.

Chug ...

Have you got any photos of your early set up. Might be nice to have those in the processor section as historical interest and, if it was open topped, to highlight possible dangers.

I may still have one of the old (open topped, shock horror) burco setup, I'll have  look.
