Pump problems

Hi all, I’ve improved my bio diesel quality with the kind help of David Smith , unfortunately on my last batch my pump over heated, It was a cheap eBay job so doesn’t surprise me , anyway I’m looking to fit the original pump but need to find a seal like in the picture , anybody know where I could get one ?
I do have another pump that would need some modifications to fit to my Golden Ray processor, the original one is noisy  , but I understand it’s a different type of pump , the one currently fitted allows me to suck up the oil to load the processor and also has another pick up tube to add the methoxide, Would I loose this feature if I was to fit another type of “Quieter “pump the style I have is quite noisy in comparison.
I had a look at the wiki pump section but couldn’t find reference the the different pump types

For reference the quiet pump has inlet and outlet a 90 degrees the noisy one is 180 degrees (straight through )

Yes you are right, the quiet one won't self-prime for suction - the noisy one will.

The knackered seal looks like a standard shaft seal.  If you can work out the dimensions you could replace it: https://www.bearingboys.co.uk/Oil-Seals-1049-c

Thanks Tony , That saves me the trouble of trying to reconfigure the pipe work to accept the quieter pump , I would rather keep the suction ability , thanks for the link

Speaking of pumps.

I have decided to bite the bullet and buy a pump.
As I will only be making small batches (15-20 litre), which pump do you guys recommend.

Being a poor boy I want the most inexpensive (aka cheap) pump that will do the job. I don't need to worry about the process taking a bit longer.

I'm not sure there is a cheap pump out there any more. TAM 105 was the go to pump when I first started out. Not sure what the equivalent is now or what the price is. I once bought a stuart turner pump off ebay for 99p and sold it for £15. Great pump, didnt need it but couldn't resist a bargain.

I've got a cheap pump here which you are welcome to. Its similar to a tam 105, but chinese I think.
