Delphi pump/common rail if I'm not mistaken, only the TDdi's use a rotary pump.  It's an engine that personally I would only want to run on well made biodiesel, and even then perhaps a mix with pump diesel to keep it as thin as possible.  Certainly no vegetable oil, that would spell it's death in short order.
