Tidy build.  I have mixed feelings on the plastic, but you are experienced and it's your choice of risk.

Heating element automatically cuts with level sensor.

Big thumbs up for this!

Is there also a secondary over-temperature cut out?  You can buy little thermal fuses that go open circuit over a specific temperature, if you don't already have these it would be worth purchasing some, they're dead cheap.

Looks great though :)  Try and keep it clean!

Thanks Tony. People are all to soon to jump and judge. Health & Safety is paramount to me and if i felt it wasn't safe then I wouldn't be willing to use it. I designed and built it from the ground up. I known the processor inside out and I'm confident in my fitting ability to have done a professional job.
The processor produces A1 fuel too which is also fantastic.
The biggest risk is leaving the heating element on when dry rather than overheating the oil in the plastic tank. Depending on the location and environment the vapours could also cause a concern but not in my case.

Just a thought, if methanol vapour is heavier than air, what is the rooftop ventilation for?

Wouldn't you be better with low level ventilation?

The vapour will get carried out by hot air, as I very well know from my own reactor.

As for a plastic reactor, as long as the op is aware of the risks and decides to carry on I don't see an issue with it. I "sometimes" do things against good advice, when it does go wrong I only have my self to blame!

Blimey Keef you must be the only one that doesn't know Arash is a mobile disaster looking for somewhere to happen.

Doesn't it depend on the temperature of the vapour as to whether it rises or falls?
