Really could do with a wiki page on water injection as a cure for ring gumming - anyone up for it?

I've got two unfinished pages on which I'm working and a wife who insists the extension gets finished this year, so it's unlikely I'll be able to do it in the near future.  But I agree it would make a great page.

I'm happy to have a bash at any illustrations required if the author can provide references and doesn't want them immediately.

It's OK, it got stuck in a sticky oil spill behind the shed ;)
