That's certainly a new pump from the state of the rotor and stator ... absolute bargain.

I did say that they don't have a high capacity, however,  if it's a major issue, keep an eye open for an MM or ML.

One thing I forgot to mention ... don't run it against a closed valve. If I remember a conversation with Mono correctly, if an MS is dead headed, it can tear the flange off the rotor.

I didn't do much other than persuade you to buy it, but I'm glad you're pleased with it.

ok, verdict after a week or so.

excellent.

had a spring clean in the shed today and emptied all my pre filter drums.

pumped 800L of jelly like slop into 60`s ready for sale tomorrow.

never slowed down or missed a beat. some of it was really disgusting and it just ate it up.

need to mount it somewhere with nice long hoses coz its a heavy bugger to move about.

would seriously recommend one

Out of interest, have you checked the condition of the stator?

Either ware on the internal "threads" (rotor should be a reasonably tight fit in the stator) or a circular split at the flange end (you may need to pull it about quite a bit to make the split visible).

New Stator is probably around £50.00.  If you like the pump, it might be cheaper than a replacement pump.
