I would buy one but i certainly wouldnt bother building one, better things to do with my time, alright for you retired people  ;D

Just as I thought ... cheque book engineer.  Way too much cleaning and polishing to do.

That looks lovely....is that bronze or gold? Or maybe a burnt umber...! Colour determination has never been a strong point of mine.

Is it a cologne v6 in it? Carbs or k jet?

Yes, Cologne 2.3 and carbs used in Granada,s i think, a PITA when it comes to getting bits as the engine doesn't seem to fit any model exactly

I used a 2.8 with a twin choke webber out of a 1982 mk2 granada in a Diahatsu fourtrak. Nice torquey lump.

The 2.3 was also used in MK4 Cortina's, although as it's from Europe they called them Tornus, this may help.
