Read with interest your post. Would it be easier to offer calor a small amount of compensation for their cylinder which some how found its way into your possession, say scrap value, £2-3. It would be cheaper than them sending someone to pick it up and they still save face about it being their property. I still don't see how that works by the way cause once you've paid the deposit you can keep it as long as you like, indefinitely? So as long as it was intact they could never prove theft.

Or me, I'd make her life a misery after I'd thrown several fecks into her AND she wouldn't be the first I've had to put up with.

Ah, but with you she'd have a genuine complaint due to the constant trumpeting.

But it stops when I sleep, can't see what her problem is.

therein lies the problem. the owner who lives 100 miles away doesn't care, his ex on the other hand who lives just down the road does. their kids are divided on the issue. hopefully it will blow over, but only if i clear up the crap lying around the coach. seems fair enough, just a bit messy in the way it was put to me. sledgehammer to crack a walnut in my opinion. she could have just asked me. but instead of that she involved  all the family. talk about drama queens. still i get more space in a better part of the field, plus the coach is falling apart anyway. i would have had to do something about it soon anyway.

At least you still got your space Bob,
some friends of ours who have been renting and living on a piece of land, got woken Tuesday morning by police and bailiffs as the house and land is being possessed by court/bailiff and they had until 5pm to get what they could of their Tipi's and possessions, the house/land owner knew nothing about it, and claims its somebody frauding his name on loans and using the house as collateral. My friends have built a strawbale roundhouse(with my help) compost loos, showers, sauna etc really good veg plots and it was all coming together nicely, now they are basically homeless.

That is alarming. It's a nightmare whichever way, but if someone has been frauding the owners name, that's a real nightmare.

ohh i am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be allowed  stay here. i know the owner likes me being here as having me here stops people just  turning up and squatting the land. i have  kicked a few people off over the years. i just need to work on my diplomatic skills when dealing with the ex who has a very large chip on her shoulder about the whole thing. your friends situation sounds horrible. i am in a very good position as both the owner and the council are happy  i am here and i have a letter from the council planning department giving me permission to have the coach here. having spent years squatting i never get tooo comfortable.

Ah, calor, so all you folks out who have a contract with calor which cost 35 pound please be seated. After 7 years the contract is void and you dont get yer money back if you return the unwanted cylinder.Even if you still have the paperwork.

Contract may be void... so you dont get the cash back.

However, contract isnt void, as you dont get the cylinder either!

Calor wants to have their cake and eat it.

Plus the £39 you pay at the start of it all is, according to calor's own website, about 2x the cost of the cylinder anyway!
