cornwall bbb postponed for a week
« on: September 05, 2013, 02:00:48 PM »
hi all,
i have decided that given the low numbers and the weather forecast it would be more sensible to move the bbb to the following weekend 13/14/15. hopefully more people may be able to make that weekend. i have u2u;ed everyone who has said they are coming all 4 of  them so hopefully no one will have a wasted journey, not that any journey down here is wasted given the area. i will be about this week end if anyone is already down here, and feels like dropping in. sorry about the short notice but it seems silly to just sit in a wet field with 4 people getting wet. hopefully more people may be free the following weekend. the local rave will be going on so lots of free "music"?

No problem, suits me fine. I was struggling to get things organised a bit. Gives me a bit of breathing space.

caught the tail end of that in penzance. had just finished loading some pallets in the van and noticed the sky had gone almost black. got about  500 yards down the road and the heavens opened. it was as if someone had poured a large bucket of water all over penzance. a bit of hail but nothing like falmouth got. hopefully things will be back to normal by the end of the week.
