My friend is thinking of bidding on this -

Its only just down the road from him, but i cant advise him if its suitable for his reactor build or not, with regard to the internals.

Ive looked up service kits and they mention both nitrile and viton, which just adds to the confusion.

I know some of you have stuart turner pumps, so wondering if anyone can advise?

I know that Jamesrl used to supply, and may well still do, on some of his all inclusive plants.

If it's cheap enough..I'd put a bid on it.

Good pumps and ideal for a small is plant, 100ltr or so with a 3bar max pressure.

I've use a small Stuart Turner for drywashing bio for some time now and no sign of any seal problems. It's a good little pump, if a little noisy.

The one above, 30m head equates to 2.7 bar, this isn't much - might not drive a venturi particularly strongly.

Going by the fact that he has not mailed me excitedly, im thinking he probably did not get it.
