Didn't know you could get them that size ... how much?  Just checked TLC and they have them at £15.40  ... min load 200W max 1000W

I tried to find an old dimmer switch I thought I had in the garage today and failed.

Thinking about it, it would make sense to try and work out how much power the thing draws.
