Even better integrated authentication between wiki and forum
« on: September 27, 2012, 12:31:38 PM »
Now you no longer need to login separately into the wiki to edit pages.

  • If you're already logged into the forum (and have wiki edit rights) you're automatically logged into the wiki - edit away!
  • If you're on a wiki page but not logged into the forum, and click the "login" link you get taken to the forum login page and then back to the wiki afterwards.
  • If you're on the wiki page and click "logout" you get logged out of both forum and wiki.

Those with existing login sessions may need to clear their cookies in order for logout to work correctly - but this isn't critical - you just won't get logged out if you click the wiki logout link.
