New filter station?
« on: June 28, 2013, 10:13:26 PM »
Stackable and each section has a grill that can be covered in different filter material,  it filters down to the bottom where the tap allows you to drain off the water, you stand the whole thing in a container and when the oil reaches a certain level it goes down the legs into it leaving the water in the filter system

I did look at wormeries for filtering but if you get a blocked filter toward the bottom then it would overflow from the upper levels contaminating the finished product and you'd have to start again.

I still reckon you could use one though, with a bit of thought.

Did you make this, before I start picking holes in it?

Great idea, if the oil is good enough. With the oil I get, it would be blocked in minutes with fats.

Nah, as Keef said its actually a wormery, it was been chucked at work, as soon as me and RM saw it we started thinking, when you see taps and grills it must have a use  :)
