Yes, the tasteful blue lino gets very slippery in the event of a spill.  The rule is don't spill anything and if you do mop it up straight away.

After several years my tasteful blue lino has started to stretch where I spill stuff and stand most frequently, but it still makes a great easy to clean surface.

My shed was a wreck when I bought the house, I bodged it together rather than a decent repair as winter was on the way and I've been bodging ever since.
It's been  the victim of 10 years of filtering veg badly, 2 years of a leaky roof, a tendency to never throw anything away, not to mention the veg oil spills and rat attacks on cubies.

I've got a couple of planks of wood to walk on over the gooey mess the rats made, too disgusting to even think about cleaning. Not helped by the fact that it's very long and narrow with no room to get round in without knocking something down. I'd be better with a bonfire and go from scratch with something more suitable.

I've been there. Full nuclear decontamination suit required before you enter.

Anybody who's been to my plant room will know it's safe to enter and leave without the need for the above.  C'mon Tony...sort it out ;D

Nige, I think it would be quite safe to eat a full meal in your plant room whilst wearing a dinner suit and posh shoes.

I've recently put up some 6' industrial steel shelving - just need to knock the man-flu on the head and I'll populate them by reorganising the contents :)

I'll see your mess and up you 6" of veg/bio soaked cardboard flooring and 30ish miscellaneous empty plastic containers.

The shed is 3m x 4m with a clear working space of at least 2 square feet.

There's a nasty vicious world outside my shed.
