the original 406 fan as you see has 2 pots...
the secondhand 405 fan i just got has 1 pot.
i plugged it in and it does the full range speed on switch slider, so good enough.
as a guess here the original may of been slightl;y faster, but both are like a rocket when spinning full speed, its like there trying to take off
