right, this is starting to bug me.

if i used a ch pump, and a 10" filter, how would i fill it enough to circulate freely.

would i need a resovoir,

what would i use as a cleaning agent.

how would i rinse them...

am i mad.

hows about this..



flat board. reservoir at top full of fluid. ch pump next, through 10" rig and back to reservoir (open to skim oil off)

now, the question is, am i too drunk, or not drunk enough?

Looking at this from another point of view Ged....if you set up a rig to reverse flush filter elememts like the one pictured above, is there not the likelyhood of contaminating/blocking the filter from the inside.

I'd doubt that a CHP would have enough flow/pressure to dislodge much contamination.

Instead of attemting to clean disposable elements why not bite the bullet and get something fit for purpose....like this:
