New project.
« on: March 01, 2015, 05:04:33 PM »
Got a new project on the go, and artistic licence demands that I make a front bumper out of a pair of big conrods with pistons attached. Does anyone have anything knocking about that they might want to sell?

Blimey, they got some weird rules out there ain't they.

I really can't see why you'd need a license to paint a picture with or without pistons.

Now now Jim, take it easy. The spuds are planted & there's only about 6 weeks to go before they start to come out of the ground. I'll send you a bucketful if you can find me something like this:

I haven't got anything like that kicking about, but that looks mega cool.
Gonna be a tractor or a lorry engine by the looks of it.
Whack a wanted ad up on gumtree or something. There must be loads of people with seized  engines kicking about, who never thought someone would offer them a few quid for the pistons.

Those pistons must rattle about over the bumps a bit.  I think that style if fugly, but I gather they're quite in vogue in the US.

I've spoken to the man about the rods and pistons, he doesn't have any himself but knows another man that should have a few knocking about.

Fingers crossed we might get lucky so stand by with the spuds.
