I've attended...I could only manage a brief visit this year due to on going issues. Arrived at about 2pm and left at 4.15pm. How I wish I could have stayed longer.

I left just as Arash was about to loose some fingers on his turbo build.

I cringed when I saw Ian (redsailor) sharpening a drill.
1. set angle grinder on full speed.
2. place on angle grinder on the ground and secure it firmly under a foot.
3. Sharpen drill whilst crowd watches in disbelief ;D

I'm going to miss the Saturday night Chase the Ace card game.

Great to catch up with everybody and to meet a couple of new faces...Manfred and Rossey. Nice to bump into Julianf too.

It was good to see you Nige, it must have been hard to just come down for a few hours but we all appreciated seeing you. Hopefully the figures all balance for the chemical sales. Shame that Dave could not as been as reliable as your man.
You describe out precision engineering in such a negative way - you left before the best bits - like the turbo backfiring with a thump that Tony heard sitting by the fire and which tried to consume the hair on Arash's arm and face, or propane burning from every leaking orifice - that was far more fun than some drill sharpening

We managed the card game even without you as a croupier. We even had some new blood in the form of the emperor himself and oakwoodtv.

It was good to see you Nige, and thanks for sorting out the chemical delivery.

It's a shame you couldn't stay longer but we understand the circumstances, please give your wife our regards and thoughts.

Remarkably no one fell off their seat during the game, but then Tony couldn't stay for the game either, so maybe that's why.

All I heard from by the fire was

A fairly hefty *WHUMP*

A slightly concerning pause
