« Last post by dgs on December 11, 2024, 05:37:29 PM »Maybe softwood is ok if it is absolutely snuff dry. I'm pretty sure I have used some blended with hardwood before. It always seemed to work well ie <20ppm soap.

Have you looked for woodworkers that make bespoke oak furniture etc? I got mine from a tiny place not far away, huge bag for a few quid.
