Title: One for RM
Post by: Julian on January 06, 2011, 04:49:30 PM

Paul, I have vague recollections of you posting details of some interesting test you did to work out the ratio RUG/Dino in misfuel based on SG.  That would be suitable for inclusion in both bio and veg sections ... have you still got details?

think hydrometer rateing was - 0-750-0-800-x-0-001-M50

as petrol and diesel scale cant fit on same hydrometer (really need 2x) with individual specefic gravity

If you still have the figures (can't see the graduations from the photo) you could plot them on a graph and either extrapolate petrol and rug or go with the figures in the tables you linked to.

Still think it would make a very useful page.

No problem Paul, whenever suites you.

If you want a hand putting a graph together I'm more than happy to help.  People could then measure the SG of the mix and read off the percentage of each fuel.
