knowing nothing about these pumps and how good/bad they are.Will they pump cold engine oil and how are they rated for flow.

They will pump cold engine oil fine.

Flow will depend on the model.  Some are way larger than others.

Mono is just the brand name - if you want a term to google, it's "progressive cavity"

They are not high flow pumps, but they are excellent at pumping sludge and thick liquids.  Self priming with a very good suction lift.  They don't macerate the liquid, rather take gulps and push them through the pump.

One golden rule is NEVER run them dry or against a CLOSED suction or discharge valve.

Not cheap to buy but well worth the money.  Spares including Viton stators are readily available from Mono in Manchester.
