Evening all
The truck just failed not another leaf spring (must be a weak point on these Mitsubishi trucks)
The emissions where v/good though , it's a 06 plate and been on bio from new and still only reading 0.06 in the gas test . The examiner believes it must be running on good fuel.
Also apparently the truck will never go rusty ever not even in the sea

Tell that to my Mitsubishi, this was the scene on Sunday:

She also demanded a ball joint and steering gaiter! I think it was revenge for setting fire to her paint with the welder.

That would be a drain hole on a Discovery.

Tony, you obviously haven't "undersealed" your truck with a judicious veg spill or several hahaha :) ;) :D ;D

You should see the bits around the engine, it's externally self rustproofing aka continuous oil replacement system. Really should fix that pump casing seal!

Well did the leaf spring last night. The locating pin was too big so at 12 last night im frantically tring to sort it as it was my only way home finally got away at 2 (really quite grumpy by then). Must have been the longest spring replacement ever (5 hours) , glad I don't do this for a living.

Working on your own motor knowing you need to use it shortly makes it the least fun job ever.
