Where I live (isle of Wight) it doesn't usually get cold enough to treat bio for winter running, but just incase we have a cold winter does anyone have any suggestions? I've read in places 5% or 10% petrol mix? Many thanks in advance, Paul

It also depends on the type of oil and contaminants like animal fats as to the temperature at which it will give you problems.
Use a doorstep sample in a jam jar so you can monitor the appearance after a cold night.
5% petrol is the most economical Winteriser.
Hope this helps, Dave.

yep, 5% petrol for me too. Always best to pre treat and not get caught out (been there and it's horrible! lol)

Southampton here so similar climate. I always got by by taking the clearest bio from the top of barrels (the creams seem to settle). Once I did stick an IR heater under the fuel tank when I was worried about it!
