A work colleague is interested in starting making bio. (and with the price of fuel currently we may start to see many more enquiries in the future, I doubt fuel will ever drop below £1.50 again - if people are paying it at £1.80 the racketeers will make sure it stays high)
He lives on a farm and has space and a source of oil (good start so far)
If anyone is selling up a processor or whatever give me a shout.
Many thanks

I've made small amounts of biodiesel longer than 10 years . I read some of the biodiesel forums . . Biodiesel can be made at room temperature for lower energy costs . On biodiesel forum Australia I saw a picture of a Chinese making biodiesel in a 5 gallon bucket with an electric drill to stir the mixture . I've made cold method biodiesel in a g;lass bottle with a Teflon lined cap . Your person who intends to set up a processor might study a bit how he plans to make it before taking the investment to buy a processor .

If he's on a farm with plenty of space there's lots of options.
I know someone that brewed in a barn and he used a combi boiler (with a gas cylinder) to heat his oil in one pumped pass.

I have a Twyn Tub 150 processor that needs a new home.
Feedstock, chemicals and kit included; we are based in East Devon.
Any good?
